Turin Barristan

This is Turin (our plane was found a a few centuries before his birth and Tolkein was an instant hit among the people of his world), a magic theorist. Essentially, this makes him equal to a theoretical physicist or mathematician who occasionally gets to support his hypotheses by lighting things up with pretty flames. Turin spends most of his time reading and thinking, occasionally pausing to give long complex descriptions of what he's doing to innocent bystanders. He also has naturally dual colored magic (silver and black), a rare thing indeed. A mage's robes match his or her magic's color. The robes also help the mage control and focus his or her magic and, as a result of this and them being so comfortable, Turin almost never takes his off. This only serves to make it ratty indeed and endlessly irritate his girlfriend.

Turin may eventually become a character in the Violet storyline. I did already have him write the introduction.
